Family Week is right around the corner! From Sunday, July 26th through Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, North Scott is officially hitting the pause button on all school activities.

Here is what you need to know:

Time to Unplug: There will be no access to school facilities, practices, camps, or team/club communications. We want our entire Lancer community to take a well-deserved break and focus on family.

Ag & FFA Exception: You’ll still see our hard-working FFA and Agriculture students on campus as they make final preparations for the Mississippi Valley Fair and the Iowa State Fair! 🌾 Hard work pays off—Go Lancers!

Take this week to recharge, explore our awesome Eldridge community, host a family game night, or simply relax together. Enjoy the quality time!

Today, we visited Mrs. Brooke Rich in her Top Chef class where they made Pork Birria Tacos, Lancer Bakery during croissant prep - alongside Mr. Hunter and his Meat Preparation and Food Product Development class! Some amazing work going on at the RIC!

Representatives from all 5 elementary schools in the North Scott District spent the day at the Regional Innovation Center doing math! The second annual Math Bee was held today. Attendees, coaches, and volunteers spent the day with 6 rounds of math. Ultimately finishing with a tour of the RIC, lunch in the commons and a small award ceremony celebrating the top scores! Thank you to Andrew Dobek and Troy Matthaidess for coordinating, emceeing and being such great hosts! Thank you also to Kelly Warm for her leadership and the teacher/coaches from the elementary schools, Amy Harris, Carey Copeland, Lisa Huber, and Anne Klaus. Winners were:
