Have covered a lot of territory in the final stretch! Made it to Donahue, Princeton, Dixon, and Maysville in the last week! Thanks to everyone who I had the chance to talk to!

And for those in Donahue, if you saw a lonely, child free person walking around with trick-or-treaters? It was just me - I didn’t realize the trick-or-treating time had been moved to the time I decided to go door knocking 🤦‍♂️.

Happy Monday! Voting almost one week away!

I had some exciting news to share with you this morning. I was offically endorsed by the AFSCME (which is the public employee union!)

This is exciting because one of my main goals is to [advocate] for our teachers in the North Scott School district so [they] can support our children. 😄

Great crowd tonight! Thanks to everyone who showed up at the forum. Very exciting for me and great to hear from everyone.

One question that got brought up to me after was "Why did you leave teaching?"

Important question! I left to be home with my daughters so my wife can focus on her small business AND focus on innovating in education. School board was NOT in my plan when I left my teaching job (planning to return!) but more along the lines of alternative education. The school board just happened along the journey of chatting with community members and exploring.

Excited for this opportunity.
