Miss Tosha's Babysitting Starting July 6th, 2015 I will be offering babysitting out of my house for children of any ages. Hello. My name is Tosha.

I have been taking care of children out of my home since July 2015. Before that, I worked at a licensed daycare in Bradford for 4 years and babysat for 6 years. I have attended numerous classes on childcare and have my clearances from when I worked at the daycare in Bradford. These documents can be shown to you upon request. I believe that children learn primarily through play and exploration of

their environment while engaged in relationships with peers and responsive adults. I also believe, children learn best when they feel comfortable, know what is expected if them, can experience success, and are able to express themselves in a warm, secure, and nurturing environment. It is my responsibility to promote their growth by providing them with a stimulating, accepting, and comfortable place to spend their day. My philosophy is based on a firm belief that a positive relationship must exist between the parent/guardian and myself. Parents/guardians are the first and most important teachers. I believe communication is necessary to insure a positive experience for each child in my care.

The kids have been working so hard this week prepping for their lemonade stand tomorrow. We will have strawberry and regular lemonade. And for baked good the kids have made chocolate or Vanilla cupcakes, chocolate or cinnamon zucchini muffins, and a variety of cookies this year. Cookies include: chocolate chip, peanut butter walnut, sourdough peanut butter, almond joy, chocolate chip pumpkin, and chocolate chocolate chip sourdough.. They are so excited and can’t wait to see you all tomorrow from 10am to 5pm. All their money earned is going to be used for some new outdoor toys and a playroom makeover.

We’ve had a few people ask! With everyone’s schedule it’s been hard to plan this this year, but we WILL be having our annual lemonade stand this Friday, August 14. From 10am to 5pm. This will be weather permitting. I’ll be keeping an eye on the weather and keep everyone updated.
