Fire, Rescue, EMS….

It all takes a certain understanding of anticipation. It takes a certain tempo.

We make deliberate decisions, choices, preparatory steps to facilitate setting and maintaining a tempo. We do these things because they are right and fulfill our mission both personally and professionally. We make the hard decisions not the easy ones

Timid, bashful, and light-footed movements have never, and will never work if we plan to actually help someone versus being a body on a scene.

Don’t be a body….be an asset.

One month from tonight, everyone will be settling into the Regalia Hotel & Conference Centerfor the Revolutionary Fire Tactics at the Lake!

I have had a lot of opportunities for learning this last year. I will keep clawing and fighting for what is right. I will continue to fight to make the fire service better and to leave it better than I found it. I will continue to put our victims first.

Now, let’s try this:

WE will continue to put victims first.
WE will continue to fight for the fire service.
WE will continue to leave the fire service better than WE found it.
