The weather finally cooperated and we were able to plant our vegetable garden today. The children planted peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers. Also, some herbs basil and oregano, along with marigolds. They then each planted a cucumber seed in a pot to take home. The planting was followed with a snack of cucumbers and ranch. Soon we will be eating snack straight from the garden.! Thank you to Arika Quezada for spearheading this project.

Eldon Montessori graduation was today May 15, 2024. We have 8 students entering Kindergarten in the fall who received a diploma. All of the children did an awesome job singing for the parents. The program was followed by a lot of fun for everyone- making a necklace, blowing bubbles and especially bouncing in the bounce house.

We planted our pollinator garden today!!! The seedlings from the seeds children planted in milk jugs in January were ready to be transplanted. Hopefully, we will attract some butterflies, hummingbirds and bees.

The children enjoyed watching the eggs hatch and holding the baby chicks this week at Montessori.
