Join us Saturday, November 22 at 3:00 pm for Rowan Dunham’s solo recital!

Rowan is a 5th grade student at Blackberry Creek Elementary School, has been taking guitar lessons at Da Capo for 5 years, and will be using his solo recital to raise money for the Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis Foundation.

Systemic JIA, the most rare of the various types of juvenile idiopathic arthritis, is unique because the signs and symptoms commonly affect the whole body and not just the joints. The SJIA Foundation is focused on finding better treatments and a cure for all SJIA patients.

Happy 16th birthday to Da Capo Music Studio! It’s been a wonderful ride.

When we opened, Blackberry Creek Elementary was brand new, the Elburn Herald was the local town newspaper, the iPhone 3GS was the latest technology, and the Elburn Jewel-Osco was the new grocery store in town.

Over the past 16 years we’ve seen the Anderson Road Extension built (and with it Elburn’s third stoplight); Elburn Station; and FaceTime and the iPad were not only invented, but have become an integral part of how we conduct lessons.

We are excited to announce our new beginning guitar class, Junior Jammers!! This class is for children in grades 1-5, and the first session begins in June. Classes are filling up quickly, so contact us today for more information!

Our next session of Da Capo Kids starts THIS SATURDAY, March 8! We only have a couple of spots left for the class, so if you have a young child who’s interested in music, contact us soon!!

This class is for children ages 5-7, and includes singing, movement, and playing with percussion instruments. It's a great way for young kids to be introduced to music!
