After-school classes are starting soon. If your child is interested, please sign up on the Sugar Grove Park District website www.sgparks.org. Media Tech is almost half full and will fill up. 3rd graders, this is the first year you can sign up for it. Yearbook, art club class, and Lego club classes are also starting soon. Welcome back, Knights! We are so excited to welcome our 1st-5th grade families back to Kaneland John Stewart!

Just a reminder that Supply Drop-Off is TONIGHT, Monday, August 10, from 4:00-6:00 PM.

This is an open house-style event, so there is no need to arrive at a specific time. Stop by anytime between 4:00-6:00 PM that works best for your family. Bring your school supplies, meet your teacher, say hello, and take a peek at your classroom!

⭐️ Kaneland Elementary Playgrounds Update!

7/28: The playground is open!! However, since KST is hosting summer school, we ask that others do not use the playground until after 3:30 PM. Summer school ends this Thursday. 

Our elementary school playground transformations are nearing the finish line!

While the new equipment may appear fully installed and ready for use, the sites remain closed to the public until final inspections are complete.

To ensure safety, please continue to stay off all playground areas until an official opening announcement is made.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we finalize these exciting new spaces!

Today we clapped out our 5th graders for the final time at KST as they begin their next chapter at Harter Middle School! 🎓👏

We are so proud of each and every one of them and all they have accomplished during their years at KST. Wishing our students a fun, relaxing summer and all the best in middle school this fall! 🖤🤍🩶

⭐️ Mrs. Orman has dedicated so much love and care to Kaneland over the years. No matter the role, children were always at the center of her heart and world.

We are incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and compassion she has shared with our students, staff, and families. Her impact on our school community will be felt for years to come.

Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Orman on her retirement and thanking her for all she has given to Kaneland. We wish her nothing but happiness in this next chapter! 💙
