Just in from Transportation Director Michele Reynolds: “Every year, the Georgia Department of Public Safety conducts a rigorous, top-to-bottom inspection of our school bus fleet—checking every safety-critical component from brakes and steering to tires and emergency exits to ensure our students are safe on every mile.

I'm proud to report that this year, our transportation department earned an outstanding 99% passing score!

That exceptional score reflects the dedication and hard work of our mechanics, Easton Callaway and John Reynolds. Day in and day out, they go above and beyond to keep our buses ready for keeping our 3,000+ students safe every single day!”

Great job by the entire Transportation Staff in meeting this 99% rating, which is the highest score ever for Elbert County!
