Rounding out our graduates for today is James, who previously held a CDL but needed to remove some restrictions. He opted into our full time class to ensure he had the skills to test, and he passed on his first attempt yesterday! Congratulations James!

When life threw curves, Mitchell decided to drive them instead of letting them run him over. Quietly learning while making his way through training, he projected that “I’m going to pass this test” attitude yesterday and passed his state CDL exam. Congrats, Mitchell, we knew you could do it!! 🤘

We’ve had some very insightful students pass through our doors, and Anton was no different. He was constantly looking to improve what he was doing, making mental notes of everything, and stuck with the manual transmission. All that attention to detail paid off when he passed his first attempt at the state CDL exam yesterday! Way to go, Anton!

“Anything you can do I can do” - words from our newest graduate, Madi, to her husband who is a graduate of ours from Winter 2025. And she sure did, going above and beyond and passing her state CDL exam on her first attempt yesterday! She’s now off to work for the same company he works for, locking in local driving while still being able to raise her animals and children at home. Congratulations Madi!!

As a diesel mechanic, you can increase your skills and your pay by obtaining a CDL. Not even 4 months after his 18th birthday, Cayne received a scholarship from the South Spencer Scholarship Foundation and the Workforce Ready Grant through the Tell City WorkOne office (Southwest Indiana Workforce Board) to attend school 100% free to him, passed his state CDL exam on his first attempt last week, and is now headed back to work, where he will be able to test drive the trucks he’s working on. Great job, Cayne! We are all very proud of you. 👏

Being a family run school, family means everything to us. Watching the families of our students support them through every steps of training has been a blessing for us.

Jace’s family not only supported him through his time with us, but also our other students and our staff members. From hefty plates of Thai spaghetti and lumpia to major words of encouragement, they were here for everyone every step of the way. They even decided to head out to the test site on Wednesday, where Jace passed his state CDL exam on his first attempt.

It’s been a pleasure having you and your family here with us, Jace. Good luck out there!!

Kentucky students can obtain grant funding too, if they meet qualifications! Dave did, and was officially our last automatic student of 2026. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to drive something this large, considering the job he was taking was driving something automatic and smaller, but he knocked out his state exam on Wednesday and heads off to work soon! Atta boy, Dave!
