Over the last few years the Betterment Committee has made it their mission to provide family activities within the community as well as provide money and manpower to improve our little town. The Memorial Day celebration in the Cemetery, Christmas in the Park, lunch for the Day of Caring, and park clean up are just some of our activities. We have also purchase and set up flags for the pillars and

the pole at the park, the patriotic Elba signs that hang on the lamp posts and other holiday decor around town. We donate to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library ( free books to pre school children), school fund raisers, and any community drive we feel we can support. We also donate time to school and community activities whenever possible. Most recently, our Music and More and Music and More 2.0 was our “thank you “ to our community for the support they have provided us at our fund raisers over the years. Watch our page for future activities for the whole family.

It was a GREAT night to be in Elba! (Well, not for nothin, but isn’t it always?)
The community spirit was inspiring. We have a new Onion Queen and a Liberty Tree (pictures for that will be coming soon). And we helped to raise money for JTAMF (thanks to our generous community)
