Some of childhood’s sweetest memories are made with dirt under fingernails, berries picked straight from the vine, potatoes pulled from the earth, and the joy of caring for living things.

Garden Camp was filled with muddy hands, harvesting vegetables for homemade soup, blending herbal teas, stringing marigolds to dry, and plenty of wonder. Thank you to this beautiful group of campers for reminding us that childhood doesn’t need to be rushed, it simply needs room to grow. 🌿💚

We held our Spring Jubilee yesterday and joined together in joyous celebration to welcome the new season. Our students and teachers shared a variety of musical and movement offerings and the program ended with a beautiful community dance circle 🌸🌷🌼🌿🌻🪻

We will learn how this supports emotional balance, trust, resilience, and healthy physical and mental development.

Andrea, founding board president of Berkeley Rose Waldorf School, taught as a grades teacher for over 15 years. She has authored three self-help books for young adults, including the bestseller, Respect, which has been translated into numerous languages.
