The right people change how you see yourself before you even noticeđŸȘž

The friend who calls to celebrate the small win. The coworker who forwards the job before you knew you wanted it. The instructor who says the thing your parents never did.

That’s not luck. That’s the room you’re in.
If your current room isn’t unlocking anything — maybe it’s time to walk into a new one.
ELVTR live cohorts open this September. For anyone ready to sit in a different room.

Your plot twist is just a few episodes away.
Every great career story has a chapter people forget.
The waiting tables. The dead-end jobs. The setbacks. The moments where nothing seems to be happening.

If your career feels slower than everyone else’s right now, don’t assume you’ve missed your chance.
You’re still in season 1.

This is the kind of story that keeps us teaching 👏
Carrow Brown came to ELVTR to sharpen a script. She left with a comic that’s now funding hospital comics for kids with cancer.
She shows us that storytelling doesn’t just entertain, it can provide comfort and encouragement in the toughest moments. It’s a way to give something back and, in Carrow’s words, “hopefully do some good in the world.”

If you’d like to start where Carrow did:
- UK Comic Book Artist Course with Neil Edwards (starts 26 Aug)
- APAC Comic Book Writing Course with Cavan Scott (starts 27 Aug)
- US Comic Book Writing Course with Adam Beechen (starts 7 Oct)

The bad week isn’t a sign to quit. It’s a sign it’s working.

Progress isn’t supposed to feel good all the time.
If it does, you’re not actually pushing.
The people who reach whatever they’re chasing spent about a third of the time hating it. Alexi Pappas won an Olympic medal following this exact ratio.
That doesn’t mean suffer more. It means when the bad week hits — and it will — that isn’t the sign to quit.

Save this for the day it stops feeling good.

Olympic athlete breaks down the “rule of thirds” — why the bad days aren’t a warning sign, they’re proof you’re chasing something real.

Same rule applies to building a new skill or switching careers. If it felt good the whole time, you probably weren’t stretching far enough 😉

Ted Lasso isn’t remembered because he had the perfect game plan.
He’s remembered because he knew leadership starts with people.
The best leaders build belief, stay curious, own their mistakes, create trust, and help people become more than they thought they could be.

Whether you’re leading a team, a project, or just hoping to become a better manager, swipe through 7 lessons from the AFC Richmond dugout.

The best mentors don’t chase wins.
Ted Lasso wasn’t the smartest coach in the room. He didn’t understand offsides. He’d never watched a Premier League game.
But he built the team in football culture that people actually wanted to be on.

That’s exactly the difference between an instructor and a mentor. Between «teaching a class» and «believing in the person taking it.»

Every ELVTR cohort is live for that reason.
You don’t just learn the craft. You get someone in the room who’s actually done it — and who’s watching whether you show up.

Save this for the day you’re looking for the right course.

Nobody flies a jet to buy milk ✈
But somehow, every marketing team is still asking ChatGPT to design their brand book, code their landing page, and write their next campaign.

The best professionals started building a fleet.
A bicycle for daily errands. A cargo ship for the heavy analysis. A company van for client work. A private jet when the visual has to land.

Swipe for the full breakdown of what each AI is actually built for — and how to get your license to drive them.

🎯 AI in Marketing — Danielle Tomassini (ex-Google) — starts 19 Aug
🎹 AI-Aided Graphic Design — Evan Boehm (BUCK) — starts 20 Aug
