🎉 Welcome Back, Da Vincians—our 18th Anniversary!! 🧡

🏫 We’re so excited to welcome our students, families, and staff back for another incredible school year across Da Vinci Schools!

📚 From reconnecting with friends and teachers to settling into new classrooms and routines, it’s been amazing seeing our campuses come back to life.

🧡 Connect TK-8 students return to campus next week! We loved welcoming new and returning families for one-on-ones this week and can’t wait to see our students back on campus.
We're also super excited about new programs launching this year: The Levitt Lab at Da Vinci Connect High, FUTURES Plus, and RISE Above, a relaunched program building on nearly a decade of experience serving at-promise youth.

✨ We can’t wait for an amazing school year and look forward to all of the learning, growth, memories, and incredible things ahead.

🎉 Da Vinci Schools kicked off the 2026–27 school year by bringing staff together for our All-Org Professional Development Day!

☕ The morning started with coffee, connection, and a warm welcome back as staff gathered to celebrate the start of a new school year.

🏫 All staff heard updates from across Da Vinci’s schools and programs before teachers, counselors, and administrators joined job-alike teams to collaborate across sites.

🌮 Staff came back together for a taco bar lunch and time to reconnect with colleagues before transitioning into school site professional development.

🧡 We’re grateful to have our Da Vinci community back together and excited for all that’s ahead this school year!

🏗️ Da Vinci Design staff kicked off the 2026–27 school year with this year’s guiding theme: Systems Built to Last!

🦺 Staff brought the theme to life with a hands-on building challenge before heading to Yakult USA in Fountain Valley for a guided factory tour. The team got a firsthand look at the systems behind the production of an impressive 900,000 bottles of Yakult each day!

🐺 With a strong foundation in place, DVD staff is ready to build, grow, and support students throughout the year ahead!

☕ Wolves Cafe is almost back! 🐺

Today, Da Vinci Schools & Wiseburn USD staff stopped by the 201 campus for a free cup of coffee and a first taste of what’s to come as we prepare for the official reopening of the Wolves Cafe!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, grabbed a cup, and shared feedback with the team. 💬☕ Your input will help shape the cafe experience as we get ready to reopen.

We can’t wait to officially open the doors and have both students and staff stop by for a sip of java! ☕🐺

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the Wolves Cafe possible, and a special shoutout to Chris Mason for creating the beautiful artwork and mural that bring the space to life! 🎨

We’re thrilled to welcome 18 outstanding new educators to Da Vinci Schools! 🎉

Our 13 new teachers and 5 new counselors kicked off the school year with three dedicated days of professional learning, collaboration, and getting to know the Da Vinci community as they prepared for the start of the 2026-27 school year.

Incoming staff toured our schools, dove into Project-Based Learning, and explored everything from real-world learning and culture building to Canvas, Advisory, special education law, student support, health and wellness, and other practices that shape the Da Vinci experience.

On Day 4, our new educators joined their returning colleagues as the entire Da Vinci team came together to build relationships and prepare for an incredible new school year.

Student parking permit applications for the 2026–27 school year are now open!

🗓️ Apply now through August 10 (11:59 PM)
🎓 Lottery priority: Seniors, then juniors
📧 Selected students will be notified by August 14

Before you apply, be sure you have:
✅ Valid driver’s license
✅ Current vehicle registration
✅ Proof of insurance
✅ Signed Student Parking Permit Agreement

Please note: Parking is limited, and submitting an application does not guarantee a permit. If applications exceed available spaces, permits will be assigned through a lottery, and students not selected will be placed on a waitlist.

🎓 At the CNA Recognition & Pinning Ceremony, our Summer 2026 CNA cohort celebrated six weeks of hard work, growth, and achievement.

🩺 During a moving “Stand Up If…” reflection, students recognized the milestones that shaped their journey—from caring for patients and assisting with daily tasks to completing every hour of required coursework and clinical training.

💙 The ceremony celebrated not only the technical skills students gained, but also the compassion, confidence, and professionalism they demonstrated throughout the program.

🤝 A special thank you to McKallen Medical, LifeLaunch, Erin D’Souza (LifeLaunch), Emily Green (Da Vinci Schools), Program Director Sade Stephenson, and instructors Alvi Ventura and Valerie Jackson for their partnership, mentorship, and dedication to helping prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.

As summer comes to a close, we’re celebrating a season of discovery, growth, and real-world learning. From career training and healthcare pathways to Summer in Wiseburn, students spent the summer building skills, exploring new interests, and making lasting memories.

Students explored careers in fashion, advanced manufacturing, and filmmaking through hands-on programs led by industry professionals.

🎉 It’s our final week of Youth Athletics & Fun!

💦 We’re beating the heat with water games, sponge kickball, indoor dodgeball, and flag football.

🪴 Upstairs, campers are building Home Depot planter boxes, trading Pokémon cards, playing games, and making new friends.

🌊 We can’t wait for our final Friday Field Day filled with even more water fun!

🎥 This summer, three students from Da Vinci Connect High, Da Vinci Design, and The Levitt Lab at Da Vinci Connect High participated in the Vertical Visions Program in partnership with the Diamond in the Raw Foundation. (Diamond In The Raw🏆Action Icon)

📱 Through hands-on filmmaking, students learned to tell powerful stories using smartphone videography, storyboarding, ethical storytelling, editing, and real-world documentation techniques.

💙 Thank you to the Diamond in the Raw Foundation for providing the funding, curriculum, and instruction that made this incredible opportunity possible!
