Hello Teacher Friends (or friends of teachers)!
I recently got an amazing opportunity to utilize my classroom special education knowledge beyond the classroom, working with teachers in a variety of placements and settings, providing them support and resources as needed. After a lot of careful deliberation, I decided to take the new position.
While I am thrilled to be working as a Clinical Manager with The Stepping Stones Group, I had to leave work I love - working with Transition-age students in the community setting.
ATTENTION: any teachers out there looking for a job in the LA/South Bay area? For a change? Apply for the Wiseburn Unified School District Adult Transition Program position! It was a job I loved at an excellent district that provided a lot of support.
Check it out and feel free to IM me with any specific questions about the position. Transition positions do not come up often, so in the words of the infomercials: ACT NOW! 😂👍🏼
Just a word of advice to any new/in-process teachers, still going through the credential process - if you are interested, apply anyway and see what happens. NOTHING VENTURED, NOTHING GAINED. 🤷🏼♀️
