At the July 16 school board meeting, our Board of Trustees adopted a new policy limiting personal electronic devices during the entire school day. While on campus, cell phones and similar devices must be silenced and stored.

Phone-free school days are linked to improved focus, stronger academic engagement, and better student mental health, and they encourage more face-to-face connection during recess and lunch. The policy includes exceptions for medical needs and other circumstances authorized by the principal or designee.

New e-bike policy is here — safety first! 🚲 The Board of Trustees has adopted a new e-bike policy to keep our community safe.

Class 1 & 2 e-bikes (20 mph cap) are welcome; Class 3 (28 mph cap) is not permitted. All e-bike riders and parents will need training, registration, and a district decal.

📋 Registration is officially open, Wiseburn families! Starting today, August 14, you can complete your registration packet in PowerSchool Enrollment. Check your email for your student's unique access code.

‼️ Please access and submit your Registration Packet for the 2026-27 school year by Friday, August 21, 2026 at 4:00 PM. 🗓️

Completing your packet equips your school to support your student from day one — including sharing key information and finalizing class/teacher assignments.

🚨 Important note: Be sure to fill out the Registration Packet, not the Enrollment Application.

We had a fantastic time at National Night Out on Tuesday!

From games and food to great conversations, it was the perfect way to kick off the new school year by strengthening community ties. A big thank you to everyone who came out to connect with our WUSD team at the booth—we loved seeing our families and neighbors!
