Today we mourn the loss of one of our greats. A man who, through his work, helped to highlight the beauty of our Borderland, the beauty of being q***r, the beauty of being alive.

Benjamin Saenz will forever remain in our hearts, a part of our DNA, a cherished elder who helped pave the way.

Our hearts go out to his family and loved ones. Thank you for sharing him with us; the world is a better place because he was here.
