Passing the Torch of Legacy & Faith ✨

Today, our Father Yermo School family gathered for a beautiful Mass Celebration of the Light! 🕯️

In this cherished tradition, our 12th graders officially passed the light of our core values to our new freshmen, who are now ready to continue the incredible legacy of Saint José María de Yermo y Parres.

A heartfelt thank you to Fr. François for leading such an inspiring celebration.

We were also deeply honored by the presence of our Alumni Class of 1976! Having them return to light the candles was a powerful, beautiful reminder of how strong our legacy truly is.

We were so blessed to join our Catholic school community today for the Annual Diocese of El Paso Bishop’s Mass!

It was a beautiful morning celebrating our shared faith alongside Bishop Mark Seitz, the incredible choir, and so many wonderful families.

Thank you to St. Joseph for hosting this celebration.

We were grateful to be invited by the Sisters of Jesus the Saviour in El Paso as Bishop Mark blessed their new home. It was a joyful time of prayer, fellowship, and community.

As a school community, we join them in prayer for their ministry and mission, and for an increase in religious vocations for the Church.

May God continue to bless their service and call many more to follow Him.

We began the school year with God’s blessing and the loving intercession of our Blessed Virgin Mary, celebrating the Solemnity of her Assumption into Heaven. 🙏

A heartfelt thank you to Father Luis Rodarte for making this celebration so special and for blessing our classrooms, our school community, and each one of us. May Mary continue to guide and protect us throughout this new school year!
