The past week and a half has been busy at JDE! We started last week with our Penguin Patch store and the kids LOVED it!! We got to help kids pick out gifts they’d like for their families. The excitement in their faces warmed our hearts! We had a little fun during the process with our hand holding socks! We also started our 12 days of Christmas where PTO provides the students with a little gift every day during lunch. There have been days where we’ve provided small candy treats to the students so those are not pictured but the kids look forward to it everyday! Thank you to everyone that has donated and volunteered to help! There was also a little extra surprise when we got a visit from the Grinch!! So many smiles from everyone around! We also had our Friendsmas potluck with mug exchange! We missed quite a few members but there is always time to join for more fun! 🎄⛄️🎁

Hello Firebird families!! We are having a holiday store this week!! Your students will have the opportunity to come shop and buy gifts for their family members for Christmas! We will be open all week from 7:30-3:30! 🎄

We had a busy week at JDE!! Thursday was Parent Liaison appreciation day! Mrs. Moreno has been an amazing addition to our Firebird family! She received flowers and a gift card from our PTO family! We also had a PTO Friendsgiving potluck and food was delicious!! Our Cherrydale fundraiser was officially ended and we were given our report for our top winners!! Teacher with the most sales went to Mrs. Dayrit!! Our top seller with over 700 in sales was Julianna, second with over 400 was Lucas, and in third we have Nayeli in over 300!!! Thank you to everyone who participated!!

Good morning! Today’s Thanksgiving lunch with your student!! PTO will have coffee and soda for sale during the lunch! Cash, Cashapp, or Zelle payments will be accepted! 🦃

Good evening everyone!! Don’t forget tomorrow is our fall festival!!! Bring cash for tickets to pay at our teacher booths, shooting hoops, horseback rides, and the food PTO will be selling! Other food trucks and vendors will take their own form of payment. Tickets are .50¢ each. Come join us for an afternoon of fun!! We will see you there! Today we spoiled our teachers with a little treat! We know it was World Teachers Day this weekend and wanted to show them a little extra love for this months sunshine cart! Yesterday was National Coaches Appreciation Day!! Dr. Torres and Coach Gomez are the best!! Our kids love them and they put so much hard work and dedication to keeping our kids busy!! Thank you so much coaches and hope you enjoyed a little token of our appreciation!! ⚽️🏀🏈🏆 JDE has the best!!
