The UTEP Liberal Arts Honors Program Its students will be amply prepared to succeed in their next academic or professional steps.
The Liberal Arts Honors Program (LAHP) will be a home for motivated students with strong academic, analytic, and/or creative promise. It will create with its exceptional students and its first-class faculty a community of scholars, leaders and service-oriented individuals. Their growth and achievements will underscore the heights to which all Liberal Arts students can aspire.

The ENGL 3320 course will be offered in Summer 1. Students in this course will have the opportunity fly to London and get to see some great productions of Shakespeare, and, explore London, Canterbury, and Oxford over the course of two weeks in June.

Last Friday, on May 6th, we had our end-of-the-semester symposium in which LAHP graduating students presented their Honors Project in the company of their friends and family. We are approaching the end of our Spring 22- Book Talks Series. Yesterday, we had the opportunity to hear from Dr. Rohrleitner and her book, Haitian Revolutionary Fictions.
On April 11, 2022, we heard from Dr. Perrillo. She discussed her book, Educating The Enemy.
We kicked off our Book Talk series in late March with Dr. David Roh and his book, Minor Transpacific. Then, we hosted Dr. William Kiser, who discussed his book, Borderlines of Slavery.
