From the classroom to the world of motorsports. 🏎️💨

Western Tech Automotive Technology students Sam and Daniel recently spent several days in Las Vegas completing a hands-on internship experience with Sorensen Motorsports during Formula Drift.

From working on the cars to helping prepare for practice runs and competition, they experienced firsthand the fast-paced environment of a motorsports team.
A special thank you to the Sorensen Motorsports team for welcoming our students and giving them the opportunity to experience the motorsports environment firsthand. 🏁

And a shoutout to Western Tech instructor Robert Trevizo for helping connect our students with opportunities that take their training beyond the classroom. 👏

Welcome back, Sam and Daniel!

🚨 EL PASO PUBLIC FORUM NEW EPISODE! Segment 1: Come Par-Tee with a Purpose with Western Tech!
Growing up I wish I knew how much value there actually is in learning a trade and trade schools. They take less time, are more flexible with your schedule, and can cost significantly less than a traditional University.
🎙️ Western Technical College has been in El Paso for over 56 years. In this interview I chat with Lynda King, Marketing Director for Western Tech in El Paso Texas, about their various degrees, scholarships, and about my college experience.
They are having their 2nd Annual Golf Classic, “Par-Tee With A Purpose,” Friday October 16th at Butterfield Trail Golf Course. Tee off is at 8:30am with a reception to follow in the afternoon. Funds raised will go to the Paso del Norte Community Foundation and to help fund scholarships for their students.
Visit www.westertech.edu for more information on the golf tournament, classes, and more.
