Dr. Carlos Diaz is a PhD graduate supervised by Dr. Rajendra Zope in the Department of Physics. He had previously received an award from the Office of Science Graduate Student Research, US Department of Energy (DOE), providing him with funding to work with DOE scientists at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. At the graduation in Fall 2020, he has received the College of Science Academic and Research Excellence Award in CPS.
