We are back! Hoping everyone had a great break and enjoyed their time with the kids. Now back to business as usual; newsletters will be sent out today in the class folders. In it you will find the QR code for the Band App. There you will find much more information and updates through the year. You will also find the QR code to join the PTA if you’re interested and haven’t yet done so. Have a great week!

Join the fundraiser while enjoying only the best pizza!
September 27th, 11am-9pm at the Peter Piper Pizza located on Mesa and Balboa. All you have to do is mention Polk Spirit Night, and 15% of funds will be donated to Polk PTA!
Note: You do not to be a Polk family to participate in this fundraiser. Invite your friends and family as well and remind them to mention Polk Spirit Night!

SPIRIT WEEK is upon us! 9/25-9/29

Panther Den is back and starts tomorrow! With this, kids are motivated to behave well, do kind things for classmates/teachers, help out etc so that they can be rewarded with a Panther ticket. They also learn to save their tickets or save their money to be able to buy trinkets. Kids love this!

Good morning parents! A reminder the being VIPS approved is very important! In order to be a chaperone during field trips, volunteer in school etc, one must first be VIPS approved! Here are the steps to take in to apply for your VIPS. The application is quick and easy.
Get it out of the way today and be ready for future activities!

Hello Polk Parents! The PTA will have its first general meeting this Friday, September 15th from 8:30 to 10:00am. Meeting will be held in the school cafeteria. We encourage all parents to join and because the meeting begins shortly after school drop-off, you are welcome to stay in the cafeteria after dropping off your child/children.
Note: the first 12 people at the meeting will receive a free pass for a Polk PTA Barre class at Contrology Barre!
