Some exciting news! UTEP Jewelry & Metals recent alumni, Alex Arrioja, has been selected as one of ten Windgate-Lamar Fellows for 2021! This fellowship comes with $15,000 to help advance awardees work. Fellows are selected based on their artistic work, as well as their potential to make significant contributions to the field of craft - and we know Alex will :) We are so proud of you Alex! Today i share one of my greatest accomplishments. This year i was chosen as one of the recipients for the very prestigious 2021 Windgate-Lamar Fellowship award imparted by the . I am very happy to have been one of the few chosen as i will now have the ability to continue and push the boundaries of my work.

UTEP Art Students Earn Templeton Honor
The University of Texas at El Paso’s Department of Art recently announced that Jill Font, Ashley Urueta and Gabriela Alvarado were its recipients of the 2020-21 Arleigh B. and Maxie G. Templeton Endowment for Three Dimensional Fine Arts.
