Interested in joining the UTEP Commercial Music Ensemble? Sign up for auditions to join this Fall semester! The theme for this semester’s concert is “Broadway”, so we will be performing various tunes from Broadway musicals! We are looking for vocalists AND instrumentalists. Deadline to REGISTER FOR THE CLASS is Monday, August 12th. Deadline to sign up FOR AN AUDITION is Sunday, August 25th at 5pm. Today is the last day to sign up to audition for the UTEP Commercial Music Ensemble for the Spring 2024 semester! The Google form to sign up for an audition will be open until 5pm. Reminder that you do not have to be a music major to join, and returning members are required to audition if they wish to continue. Feel free to reach out with any questions. Auditions for the ensemble will be held on Tuesday, January 16th, from 9am-10:20am in the Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall. Deadline to sign up for auditions will be on Monday, January 15th, at 5pm. Please make note of the audition requirements and details in the images provided (also note that you do not have to be a music major to be a part of the ensemble). We’re going back to the 80s! Come out to see the UTEP Commercial Music Ensemble present “Back to the 80s: Part 1”, where they will be performing hit songs from 1980-1984. There’s a lot of cool songs and medleys that you don’t wanna miss out on hearing! Tickets are $5 adults, $3 for non UTEP students/military, and FREE for all UTEP students, faculty, and staff. Be sure to come out and bring a friend or two, or even 10! The event will also be live-streamed on the UTEP Department of Music page.

Auditions for the UTEP Commercial Music Ensemble will be held Tuesday, August 29th from 9:00-10:20am in the Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall.
