Riverside High School Theater Department

This year, the RHS Theater Department was blessed with the help and wisdom of Mr. Saul Armendáriz, or, as many know him in the ring, Cassandro! He lent us not only his costumes, but his knowledge of life as a Luchador (and he taught our wrestlers some awesome moves). Now, his amazing life is being brought to the big screen by, “Oscar winning and two-time Emmy nominee filmmaker Roger Ross Williams” and will start Gael García Bernal! We are so very happy and will be forever grateful for all Cassandro did for our program. He is truly an inspiration to our students and directors.

Tomorrow is the big day! Come out to Pebble Hills and see Luchadora! at 6pm! Doors close right at 6, so it is encouraged you get there a few minutes early to ensure you are not locked out. If you want to enjoy an entire evening of theater, performances for all schools begin at 4pm and run on the hour!

February 19th is the big night! Come out to our opening for Luchadora! We will have artists on display, Mariachi Estrella de Riverside, Danza Omecoatl, and more! We can't wait to see you all there!

What an amazing day of theater! We cannot thank the incredible Cassandro El Exótico enough for speaking to our kiddos and showing them a few luchador moves! We could not be more grateful to hear your story.

Attention Ranger Nation! We have two RHS Summer Camps starting on Monday! Speech and Debate Camp will be held in the morning, and Theater Camp in the afternoon! Attend one or both sessions!
