Peace Lutheran Preschool & Daycare is committed to providing a safe and loving environment in which each child can develop Christian ethics. Peace Lutheran Preschool & Daycare is committed to following developmentally appropriate practices as set by NAEYC. PLPD aims to enhance educational experiences for children while developing the whole child. PLPD also works cooperatively with Peace

Lutheran Church and the community to help provide the best environment for children to learn and grow. PROGRAMMING
We serve children from 6 weeks old through Kinder. We have four session options to best fit your families needs for children in the early toddler room through Pre-K. The morning session runs from 8-12 and includes core educational instruction. The afternoon session runs from 12-4 and is an extension of the morning session. We offer early care before the morning session and extended care after the afternoon session. Kinder runs full day from 8-4 and infant hours are between 6:30-6:30. We offer before school and after school care for children enrolled in some of the local elementary schools.

Dear Peace Lutheran Community,

As you are aware, Peace Lutheran Church has ceased preschool & daycare operations as of July 31st 2026.

Bloom on Belvidere, a new preschool & daycare owned by a former PLPD board President and operated by PLPD's wonderful staff, will officially open on August 5th.

PLPD's Facebook and Instagram accounts will no longer be active.

Peace Lutheran Preschool and Daycare is changing ownership and starting a new Preschool opening August 5th! Our new school name will be Bloom on Belvidere Preschool and Daycare.
