We need every registered PTA member tonight to please join us in our meeting! We are voting to transfer our funds to the new Don Haskins PTA. It will only be about a 10 min meeting. Please join us if you can spare 10 min tonight on ZOOM at 7 PM.

There will be a survey coming out this week for all EPISD parents of Mitzi Bond & Roberts Elementary students, as well as Lincoln Middle School, about school uniforms. Currently Lincoln has uniforms, but with the NEW Don Haskins being a Prek-8th grade school, this has to be an all or nothing decision. If your child is in the district for ONE of these schools, or they plan to attend Don Haskins please make your voice heard. I can send you the link for the survey if you don't get it tomorrow.

***In speaking with the upcoming Don Haskins principal, if a uniform is decided on, there will still be the option to wear a college tshirt on certain days and there will also be several special days where other themed clothing can be worn. If parents vote against a uniform, I am told there will still be a dress code, prohibiting certain types of clothing.

I wanted to give a little update on the Yearbook. This year we were unfortunately not allowed to offer an on campus picture day. Due to this, and also our inability as a PTA to go room to room as in years past taking pictures, no after school clubs, etc, we will not be having a traditional yearbook. If anyone is interested in heading a non-traditional yearbook, or online version with parents submitting photos, please post below.
