A HUGE congratulations to our 3D Class for winning the HSI Elementary September Attendance Challenge! 🏆👏

These Tigers showed us that SHOWING UP matters! Every day at school means another opportunity to learn, grow, connect, and succeed! 📚💙

Our Grandparents Day celebration wasn’t just about dancing! 🪩💃 We loved seeing so many of our wonderful grandparents take their little Tigers over to visit our Book Fair during today’s celebration. 💛🐯

There’s something extra special about grandparents helping their grandchildren pick out a new book and encouraging a love of reading! 📖🥰

A HUGE shoutout to our amazing PTO and volunteers who have worked so hard to run the Book Fair and make it such a wonderful experience for our students and families. We appreciate you tremendously!

The music, dancing, outfits, smiles, and laughter made today absolutely AMAZING! Seeing our Tigers celebrating with their grandparents and families made this such a special afternoon. 💛🐯

📚 A BIG shoutout to our incredible PTO for running our Book Fair and concessions! Thank you for always jumping in and making our campus events even better!

👏 And another HUGE shoutout to all of our HSI Elementary staff members who helped supervise, serve, dance, and do everything in between to make today such a success!

In conjunction with our Grandparents Day 70s Disco Dance Party, we’re celebrating our amazing grandparents ALL DAY on:

📅 Thursday, September 3

Students are invited to come to school dressed in their best school-appropriate 1970s attire! 🌼☮️🎶

Think:
✨ Bell bottoms
✨ Tie-dye
✨ Peace signs
✨ Groovy glasses
✨ Fringe
✨ Bright colors
✨ All the fun 70s vibes!

Then, after dismissal, grandparents and students can keep the celebration going at our Grandparents Day 70s Disco Dance Party from 3:30–5:00 p.m.! 🕺💃

Let’s fill HSI Elementary with peace, love, Tiger pride, and lots of groovy fun as we celebrate the wonderful grandparents in our students’ lives! 💜🪩🌼

At HSI Elementary, we’re celebrating students, staff, and families who make showing up and learning a priority. Every day in school means more opportunities to learn, grow, connect, and succeed! 💙❤️

🍧 Every Friday: A homeroom with strong attendance will earn ICE POPS!
🎁 Parent Mystery Prize Drawing: Parents whose students demonstrate strong attendance will be entered for a chance to win a mystery prize!

🎨👐 Little Hands, BIG Creativity! 🏺✨

Our PK–2 Clay Club has been busy squishing, rolling, shaping, and creating! 🧡 Our youngest Tigers are using their imaginations to turn simple pieces of clay into their very own works of art.

Clay Club is more than just fun. Students are building creativity, fine motor skills, patience, and confidence while getting the chance to express themselves through art.

We love seeing what our little artists dream up each week! 🐯🎨✨

A huge THANK YOU to all of the students, staff, and families from HSI Elementary and HSI Middle/High who joined us today for our 2nd Annual Potluck at the Park! 🐯💙

We had such a great time enjoying delicious food, music, laughter, family time, and plenty of cooling off in the spray park! ☀️💦 It was wonderful seeing our HSI community come together, relax, connect, and just have FUN!

Thank you to everyone who brought food to share, helped out, and spent part of your Saturday with us. You helped make today such a special event! 🧺❤️
