A huge congratulations to our very own 9th graders Mia Acosta and Angel Martinez on making and performing with the 2026 9th grade All Region Band!! What an amazing accomplishment!! You make all of us here at Big Red proud!!

Congratulations to our very own Mr. Brown and our Bel Air High and Middle school Percussion section!!!!

Yesterday the high school competed at the sun city throwdown percussion competition and won 1st in their class!!! Along with this achievement they also took home the caption awards for:

Best Front Ensemble
Best tenor line
Best Snare Line

Not only that, but our very own Bel Air middle school also recieved 2nd place In their division and the caption awards for outstanding tenor line and outstanding snare line!!

Congratulations to our Bel Air Middle and High school percussion and Mr. Brown!! Well deserved!!!

We also need to give a HUGE shout out to our AMAZING booster parents who help us on AND off the field!!! Whether is helping with props, late nights selling concessions at games, feeding our students, giving water, these parents have been AMAZING throughout this entire marching season and we would definitely not be anywhere near successful without them!!

Thank you boosters for all your hard work and dedication to our students and our program!! All of our success is just as much yours!!

Very special shout out to our big red pride marching band on an AMAZING marching season!!! They finished STRONG at yesterday’s area contest in Andrews, TX and we are unbelievably proud of the persistence and dedication of these awesome students! They’ve gone above and beyond the expectations asked of them and never fail to amaze us!

Special shout out to our amazing admin and booster parents for ALWAYS supporting us through and through! We definitely could not make what we do happen without your support!!

Six Ysleta Independent School District high-school marching bands are in contention for a UIL state championship, with each earning a Division I “Superior” rating at Saturday, Oct. 18’s regional contest.

We are thrilled to announce your Big Red Pride Marching Band sweeped the UIL Region Marching contest and earned a division 1 rating!! This means they’re moving on to area competition on Nov 1st in Andrews, TX!!! We’re so unbelievably proud of these students!!

We are so proud of the work our big red pride marching band put in this weekend at the SISD Marching Invitational!!! Not only did they win outstanding visual performance, but they also won 1st place in their class!!

Congratulations big red pride marching band!! We are so proud!!

One more contest here in El Paso before area!! If you haven’t had the chance to catch 4 of a kind in person yet, now’s your chance!! We perform this Saturday 10/18 back at the SAC at 3:00pm!

CONGRATULATIONS to our big red pride marching band on a successful prelims and finals run yesterday at the T-bird Invitational!! Not only did they advance to finals, but the students ended up placing 2nd in their class and 9th overall!! We are so proud of our students!!
