The Bilingual Graduate Creative Writers Society is an organization of MFA Creative Writing Students at UTEP set on promoting literature in our community.

Please join us this Sunday @ Glasbox for workshop! We'll continue workshopping my thesis _Vagabondage_ & a science fiction short story by Tafari A.Nugent.

Additionally, we'll devote some time to a discussion about world-building techniques you can apply to fully convey your vision & immerse your reader in the entirety of the experience.

Plus, other fun stuff, like writing exercises, and a chance to give input on topics you'd like to see discussed in the future.

Friends!
This Sunday's workshop will focus on images. How do you know *when* to use images? What is the right image? How do we make images move? We'll also talk about image pacing: how to curb back when you're using too many images & how to be more imagistic when your work could use help from the tangible world.
Also, we'll read work from Julia Hettiger, one of our brilliant local fiction writers! And *yikes* I'll be workshopping a new part of my thesis!
