Innova Gameworks and Animations is a organization at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) which strives in the making of designing and developing video games as well as 2D/3D animations. Games require many jobs and assignments that take many people and not just coders. All you need is the desire to want to be apart of making a game happen and you are more then welcome to join are organization

Thank you all for coming last night and enjoying another game night with us. Next we is our first Magic the Gathering tournament and it will be a BOX TOURNAMENT!!! A whole sealed box can be yours. This is also an official tournament so you will also get a pack for participating.
Last minute announcement for today's meeting. Due to constraints for the room and other factors not aligning up we will be pushing the tutorial for unity to next week. For today, there will be no meeting for INNOVA and will update you asap on the location and times of next's weeks meeting.

Good afternoon everyone. My name is DuShaun Williams and I am the president of INNOVA Gameworks and Animations. I writing this message because I want to inform the public about certain changes and activities that will be happening this following year.
First of I'm sorry for anybody that has been trying to get a hold of me this past few months. We have been having trouble with Utep's email system and I haven't received a lot of people's emails regarding INNOVA or about joining INNOVA or that I got them too late. To work around this I have made a new email address for people who want to get in touch with the group. The new email will be [email protected]. Please forward all messages here for now on and I will personally get them and write back.
Second we will put out a schedule for a next up coming tournaments and the date for our INNOVA Grand Festival event as well. We are looking to do weekly tournaments that will occur every Thursday. If anyone has rejections to this write a comment below.
Lastly we will be starting regular meetings for members and people who want to join sometime early September. During the first few meetings we will be teaching Unity 3D for people who would like to learn how to make games for 3D platforms such as consoles, phones and PCs.
This is all the announcements that I have for today. Please check regularly for updates on everything INNOVA as we try to bring people closer to game developers.
