Crystal Howard usually helps with Commencement behind the scenes as a leader in UTEP's Division of Student Affairs, but this year she crosses the stage as a student. A former TV news reporter, she mentors many students as the assistant director of Student Media and Publications. She credits her student mentees for inspiring her to become a better educator and pursue her Master of Education.
