Our commercial kitchen prepares meals on site from scratch. Our meals highlight the traditional ingredients of the mesoamerican diet. Vegetables and produce come from straight from nearby community gardens. Besides providing high quality care and education, Rayito de Sol serves as a training facility. Women seeking childcare experience and aspiring business owners learn best practices in child care management.

En Rayito de Sol reconocemos que los niños tienen mucho que enseñarnos expresándose por medio de arte,
palabras, juegos, acciones, gestos, música, danza, conocimiento de la naturaleza entre muchas otras maneras. Rayito está creando
una comunidad en donde los niños crezcan con su propia cultura, se sientan seguros y tengan un ambiente sano. Las actividades
dentro de nuestro centro forman parte de nuestros principios que llevamos en Rayito de Sol, una de ellas es la siembra y la
cosecha en el huerto de Tierra es Vida. Brindamos a los niños con comida saludable de nuestra cultura, e introducimos lo
académico de manera apropiada a su edad a través del juego, respetando el interés y la curiosidad de cada niño.
