Internships allow you to obtain field experience, gain exposure to a professional environment, and learn skills that can be used once you graduate. It is important to begin building your “social capital,” so when you graduate you have started your professional reputation.
If you are interested, visit our website (https://www.utep.edu/liberalarts/nssi/student-resources/internships.html) and make an appointment to meet with the internship coordinator (Dr. Stacie Ordonez, [email protected]) about internship options.
