From the breathtaking turquoise waters and dramatic volcanic coastline at Lฤnaสปi Lookout to the peaceful beauty of Byodo-In Temple, every stop felt like stepping into a postcard! ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ‚ HAPPY FALL BREAK TO US! ๐Ÿ‚

I donโ€™t think Iโ€™ve EVER looked forward to a break quite like this one. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

If youโ€™ve been following me for a while, you know this year has been a little rough healthwise. There have been some unexpected detours, a whole lot of โ€œjust keep going,โ€ and definitely more character development than I ordered. ๐Ÿ˜‚ So when I say I am READY to put these teacher feet upโ€ฆ I mean it with my whole heart. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ

My sweet husband surprised me with a little anniversary getaway because, according to him, I ๐Ÿ’ฏ% deserve it. ๐Ÿฅน But the truth is, he has been my rock through ALL of it, so I think he deserves this getaway just as much as I do. โค๏ธ

Also me at 7:00 PM: still at school wondering how we got here. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚

Between conferences running over, parents forgetting their time, squeezing in โ€œjust one more,โ€ and me apparently being incapable of keeping a conversation to 15 minutesโ€ฆ here we are. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿซ

All the fall vibes in Mrs. Figsโ€™ classroom! ๐Ÿ‚๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿ“š

The classroom is feeling extra cozy, and this outfit is basically my teacher version of fall. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿงก Iโ€™m wearing one of my FAVORITE teacher tees๐Ÿ˜ it always gets so many compliments!

And of course I had to bring out one of my favorite books, An Ofrenda for Perro. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿพ I added this sweet book to my collection after losing our furbaby Sasha, and it holds such a special place in my heart. ๐ŸคŽ

Approximately 47 seconds later:
โ€œFriendsโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜ I literally JUST said this.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜ญ

And somehow Iโ€™ll say it another 37 times before dismissal. ๐Ÿคฃ
