UTEP IMSE continues to expand its global visibility in semiconductor smart manufacturing in 2026.
Our faculty demonstrate strong research impact, international collaboration, and educational leadership across the top three IEEE flagship conferences in robotics and automation—ICRA 2026, CASE 2026, and IROS 2026.

By participating in this course, students will not only acquire core semiconductor and AI modeling skills including predictive maintenance, digital twins, yield optimization, and MLOps but also gain first-hand insights from global leaders in the semiconductor industry.
