What looks like the “end” of the plant…�is actually the beginning of something new.
When cilantro bolts, it produces flowers that turn into seeds known as coriander.�This is how the plant continues its life cycle.

In warm climates like El Paso, cilantro naturally bolts as temperatures rise,�which means spring is the perfect time to observe this transformation.
