Graduation season is here at Flowers in the Garden Child Development Center, and our hearts are so full. 🌸🎓

As we get ready to celebrate our little graduates, we want to take a moment to pause and say thank you to all the families and the El Paso community who have supported Flowers in the Garden over the past 5 years.

These programs were built because of the children within our care. Many of the children graduating this year started with us as infants and toddlers. As they were growing, we were also growing — building programs, creating opportunities, and working hard to make sure that by the time they reached 3 and 4 years old, they could continue learning, growing, and being supported right here with us.

Our goal was always to offer more for the children we already loved so much. We wanted families to have a place where their children could feel safe, known, supported, and prepared for their next step. That is what makes this graduation so emotional. These are not just children who attended our program for a short season — many of them have been walking through our doors for 4 or 5 years. We have watched them grow, learn, play, build friendships, overcome challenges, and now prepare to walk into kindergarten.

This year feels especially close to our hearts. It is a sad but beautiful feeling to see them leave our doors, because they have been such a big part of our story. But more than anything, we are proud. Proud of who they are, proud of how much they have grown, and proud that we were able to be part of their early childhood journey.

A special message from Ms. Jackie:

My favorite graduation theme has always been Dr. Seuss — Oh, the Places You’ll Go! because it reminds me that every child has a beautiful journey ahead of them when they are given love, support, patience, guidance, and the right opportunities to grow.

To our graduates: I am so excited to see you continue to grow into the beautiful little beings you are meant to be. There are big places you will go, big dreams waiting for you, and so many beautiful things ahead. I am so proud to have been part of your growth — every little step, every lesson learned, every smile, every hug, and every moment that brought you here.

To our families: thank you for trusting us and allowing us to walk alongside you. Throughout the years, we have tried our best not only to support the children, but also to support families in understanding their child’s growth, identifying their needs, celebrating their strengths, and seeing just how capable and amazing their little ones truly are.

We are also so excited that this is now our third year offering Pre-K services in our community. When we began hearing stories of parents struggling because their children were not fully potty trained or ready for the school setting, we knew we wanted to be a voice and a support for families. The children in our community will always be our number one priority.

Thank you to every family who trusted us, grew with us, and allowed us to be part of your child’s story.

Congratulations to our Flowers in the Garden graduates. Your future is so bright, and we are so proud of you. 🌸🎓✨
