Hello El Nido Community,
We are excited to share that Mercy Medical Center will have a Mobile Care Unit visit our campus every Tuesday from September 24th, 2024, from 10 AM to 2 PM. The mobile clinic will serve patients of all ages! Please take a look at the attached images for more information.
Note: If your child is missing their sports or 1st-grade physical, this would be a great time to have them seen!

¡El primer día en la Escuela Primaria El Nido fue un torbellino de emociones! Los estudiantes saltaron de alegría, los maestros vibraron de entusiasmo y los padres se acercaron ansiosos, listos para iniciar el año escolar 2024-2025. Una de las tradiciones más queridas en El Nido es el repique de la campana centenaria. Esta no es una campana cualquiera: es un símbolo mágico y tradicional que marca el comienzo de un nuevo año de aventuras de aprendizaje. Cada estudiante tiene un turno para tocar el timbre y anunciar con orgullo: "¡Estoy listo para aprender!" La única otra vez que suena esta campana es el último día de clases, cuando nos despedimos sinceramente de nuestros estudiantes de octavo grado que se gradúan.

The first day at El Nido Elementary School was a whirlwind of emotions! Students bounced in with joy, teachers buzzed with excitement, and parents hovered anxiously, ready to kick off the 2024-2025 School Year. One of the most beloved traditions at El Nido is the ringing of the centennial bell. This isn't just any bell—it's a magical, time-honored symbol that marks the start of a brand-new year of learning adventures. Each student gets a turn to ring the bell, proudly announcing, "I'm ready to learn!" The only other time this bell gets to sing is on the last day of school, when we bid a heartfelt farewell to our graduating 8th Graders.
