We’re incredibly proud of BNR member, Naima, for being ready when opportunity showed up, for trusting herself enough to step into that moment, and for representing Best Never Rest so well.
At just 12 years old, Naima had an opportunity most young players dream about.
She originally went to watch the tryout for the El Salvador Girls National Youth Team, but while she was there, she was asked if she wanted to step in and try out herself. She took the opportunity, competed well, and made an impression!
After seeing her on the field, the coaches were very impressed with her skillset, composure, and ability. When they realized she was only 12, they let her know she was still too young, but they absolutely took notice. More importantly, they expressed interest in seeing her come back when she’s older.
This is exactly why preparation matters. You never know when a door might open, and Naima proved she’s already knocking on some very big ones.
Keep working, Naima. Your time is coming. 🇸🇻⚽️
