According to the CDC, Arkansas ranks #1 in the nation for Naloxone dispensing, with 1.3 prescriptions per 100 people in 2024. That means Arkansans are accessing this life-saving medication at a higher rate than any other state in the country. Naloxone reverses an opioid overdose in minutes, and anyone can carry it.
