Did you know that the El Dorado High School will give all students a minimum of a 50 on their gpa on their classes no matter how much work they do?

Did you know that all students are graded with a bell curve that the Arkansas Dept of Ed established for math?

Did you know that when a child is failing in a classroom the teacher can pick an choose to exempt your child from assignments?

I think that some people may call it “No child left behind” . I beg to differ.

This panic about loosing money on this fund is irony at best when. 18 MILLION DOLLARS WAS LEFT UNUSED BY ARKANSAS SCHOOL DISTRICT AFTER DISTRICT. It’s really all just a bunch of uninformed people dispelling panic to more people trusting in a news agency to just report the FACTS. While Senator Clark’s life is threatened over LIES.... and now for the facts as I see them:

Just in case you missed it. Senator Alan Clark is NOT supporting a bill that has anything to do with taking free or reduced priced lunches away from any student.

What he is purposing is using the FUNDS THAT ARE SPECIALLY ALLOCATED IN A FUND CALLED THE NSLA— they are Federal funds (meaning a state legislator has no say so about the monies). The money is generated in a school system based on those receiving school lunch reduced and free programs.

The money is SUPPOSED to be used to help further teachers education and training, help a struggling impoverished student become successful, to changing core curriculum to reflect the scientifically proven methodology, and so on....the money that will be effected in this fund shouldn’t...because senator Clark is purposing something that requires a .0001% increase in reading growth. If schools can’t do that the funds may be reduced until they can produce a successful gain. Still mind you none of this money effects kids getting to eat their lunch.

If all goes well...everyone will be able to afford to buy their own lunch, and won’t need the menu read to them.

Poverty=illiteracy
Illiteracy=poverty
