It has been a busy couple of weeks in the library! Last week, 8th Graders visited to get books and start reading. This week, 7th Graders learned what we have to offer and also got books.

Mrs. Huddleston was super excited about a group of young men who checked out not one but TWO books from the Book Club with a Friend shelf! They were seen sitting together reading one while in the library and were overheard talking about calling each other to read together! What?! 😁😁

BJH 8th grader Jai Durvasula was recognized at the Arkansas State Board of Education meeting for earning 1st place in the 2026 Arkansas Civics Bee State Finals!

Jai’s accomplishment was highlighted before the State Board as part of the State Board's recognition of Arkansas’ top Civics Bee finalists. Next up, Jai will represent Arkansas at the National Civics Bee competition on October 13–14!

We are proud to see Jai’s achievement recognized at the state level and look forward to cheering him on as he heads to the national competition!
