Golden Tone Voice Studio At Golden Tone Voice Studio students learn to use their unique voice to its fullest potential. I’m Rebecca Monroe director of Golden Tone Voice Studio.

They learn how to express themselves through song and develop characters as singing actors. They develop their musicianship to understand the music they sing. I hold a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from the University of California: Santa Barbara. I’m a vocal instructor specializing in voice technique and music education for singers of all ages. I established Golden Tone Voice Studio in 2

013 and provide my services in El Dorado County and surrounding areas.I have studied music and, more importantly, loved it throughout my life. It has been the gateway through which I have discovered the world and myself. This passion for music has encompassed my life. I hope, through Golden Tone Voice Studio, to impart that passion to my students. Through lessons I emphasize a dual approach of stellar vocal technique and music education. My teachings help students develop into well-rounded singing musicians. I am thrilled to live in beautiful El Dorado County! After being away from the area during college it is wonderful to be back where my roots are. When I first came home I spent extensive time working with my mom and dad on our family farm in Camino. Working in the dirt and seeing what could grow from my efforts is one of the most fulfilling things I've done. This sense of home and family is what compelled me to stay in El Dorado County for good. It wasn't long after I settled here that establishing my voice studio became my dream. I hope Golden Tone Voice Studio will become an integral part of our community and help enrich the lives of everyone within it.

Shining our studio spotlight on Alison today. (Pictured here on the right.) Alison started lessons in June to prepare her voice for Imagination Theater's Matilda the Musical. Supporting Alison in her journey to become Mrs. Wormwood has been a delight. When we began we found there were spots in her voice that struggled to phonate (create sound) consistently. Through exploring how she produced sound, building coordination in her voice, and a whole lot of diligent, intentional practice she can now sing through her whole range! Seeing such growth in a short amount of time has been astonishing. Alison went from feeling her voice was unreliable to, at a recent lesson, saying "It's just there! I get on stage to sing and open my mouth and the notes are there!" Well done, Alison! Your dedication and love for singing are admirable. So proud to be guiding you on your journey to find, connect with, and unleash your voice.
