We had a wonderful time at Craft Night with Lisbon and Designing Women EhC members. Everyone enjoyed making a beautiful Christmas tree ornament.

Thank you, Susan and Dianne, for hosting such a fun and festive evening! It was a great time spent crafting, laughing, eating, and enjoying fellowship with one another.

Lisbon EHC Club and Designing Women EHC Club will be meeting together for the month of October.

Join us on Monday, April 12, at 6:00 p.m. at Faith Southern Methodist Church, 4840 Magnolia Hwy., El Dorado, AR, United States, 71730.

We will be doing an craft instead of regular business meeting. Menu will be finger foods. Come enjoy a fun evening of fellowship, creativity, and time together! All are welcome to attend!

2026 Arkansas Voter Guides Are Available!
The Union County Extension Office now has copies of the 2026 Voter Guide – Arkansas Ballot Issues. These guides provide information about the ballot issues that will appear in the upcoming General Election.

The Public Policy Center has provided Arkansans with a neutral voter guide on statewide ballot issues since 2004.

Inside the voter guide, you’ll find:
- Popular names and ballot titles as they will appear on the ballot
- Answers to basic questions about each issue
- Reasons why people may support or oppose each proposal
- A worksheet to help you record your voting plans

Stop by the Union County Extension Office to pick up your copy and take some time to learn about the issues before you vote!

Thank you to the Ouachita County FCS Agent for inviting our EHC members to judge at the County Fair last week! We had a great time, enjoyed the hospitality, and loved working alongside EHC members from other counties!

Designing Women and Lisbon EHC put together 215 hygiene bags for Operation Christmas Child. The bags contained clippers, nail brush, toothbrush, washcloth and hair brush.

The Arkansas Extension Homemakers Council recognized two Lisbon Extension Homemakers members with Certificates of Achievement at the State Meeting in June.

🌟 Mrs. Eva Nell Swilley has been a member of Lisbon Extension Homemakers for 64 years.

🌟 Mrs. Dianne Haynie has been a member of Lisbon Extension Homemakers for 54 years.

Together, that represents an incredible 118 years of dedication and service! ❤️

Designing Women and Lisbon EHC Clubs meet tonight for their monthly meeting! All are welcome to attend!

Designing Women EHC is meeting on August 10 at 5:30 pm at Mt. Union Baptist Church, 653 Mount Union Rd., El Dorado, AR for an evening of fellowship and learning. The speaker will be Emily Murphy, owner of Bailey Botanicals, a flower and vegetable farm in Louann, AR. She sells locally at the Farmers Market on the Square in downtown El Dorado.
