Due to the potential for serious storms and for the safety of all students, faculty and staff, Butler Community College will close at 4:00 p.m., today May 6. All late afternoon and evening classes are canceled.

Students should check their course Canvas for information regarding their respective classes that are canceled as a result of this storm. Please follow information posted by your faculty member to ensure you understand the new deadlines for submission of academic work or final examinations. Thank you!

Student loan repayment is restarting in October and students need to be careful with companies contacting them about helping with repayment. Students should never pay for help with applying for loan consolidation or applying for income based repayment options. These services are free with the Department of Education at www.studentaid.gov.
