ages 5 and up. Accepts homeschool charter funds.

Starting this fall, I will be hosting a group guitar class for beginners, ages 7 and up. Classes will be held in Shingle Springs, Wednesdays 4:50-5:30. Charter funds are accepted. Feel free to contact me with any questions!

A little about meā€¦
Iā€™ve been involved with music since a young age. I started with piano around five or six years old, moving on to trumpet from there (until braces put an end to that), and finally settled on guitar sometime in high school. I went on to study classical guitar at Sacramento state, and during that time was blessed with the opportunity to teach beginning childrenā€™s lessons. I found myself feeling so rewarded by sharing successes with these children, even those as small as nailing ā€œhot cross bunsā€ for the first time!
As much as I truly enjoyed that time, I didnā€™t pursue a career in music and life took me down a different path. I have through the years continued to teach family and friends, and still enjoy guitar very much.
My own children are now at ages where they are showing an interest in music and remembering those moments I cherished in the past, find myself drawn to teaching again.
