El Dorado Springs High School Sophomore, Serenity Witt was chosen to represent the El Dorado Springs class of 2028 for Sophomore Pilgrimage at the Missouri State Capital today. Sophomore Pilgrimage is sponsored by GFWC clubs (Generation III), inviting outstanding sophomores from high schools over the State of Missouri to observe the inner workings of state government, to tour government buildings, and to listen to state officials. Witt also had the opportunity to meet Missouri State Representative Dane Diehl. Witt, hopes to one day be an attorney. "Today has been a very informative and pleasant day. I appreciate the opportunity to expand my knowledge of the justice system and Missouri government."
