Delivery Day!

Our new drumline equipment is made possible through California’s Prop 28: Arts and Music in Schools funding and the dedication of our VAPA and Admin team here at Oak Ridge HS to the arts.

Prop 28 provides dedicated funding for arts education, allowing schools to expand opportunities and give students access to the tools they need to learn, perform, and grow.

These instruments for our percussionists are an example of how public funding directly impacts students, creating meaningful experiences and opportunities that will benefit our music program for years to come.

We are very proud of the work our students, staff, and families put in across all of our band programs.

Our Winterguard program accomplished the same feat in the same timeframe and are equally as proud of both performing organizations.

We’ve got big plans for the year ahead. Stay tuned on how you can watch and support!

🥁 Three years ago, Oak Ridge High School's Indoor Percussion program was just getting started.

This year, they achieved something many programs spend years pursuing by qualifying for the Winter Guard International (WGI) World Championships.

Behind every performance were countless hours of practice, teamwork, perseverance, and friendships that will last long after the season ends.

Congratulations to our incredible students, directors, and families on this remarkable achievement. Thank you for representing EDUHSD with excellence.

If you hear some amazingly loud music today, and many charters and semi’s on campus, please come join us at 6:30pm for an amazing, family-friendly community event.

Today, July 3rd, we are hosting the Mandarins and Drum Corps International Capitol Classic at Oak Ridge HS.

We are excited to welcome Santa Clara Vanguard and all the way from Canton, Ohio, the Bluecoats to our campus today among many other Drum Corps on tour this summer.

🏆 Congratulations to Aaron Palm, Principal of Oak Ridge High School, on being named the 2026 Statewide Secondary Principal of the Year by the Association of California School Administrators!

Each year, only one principal in the entire state of California receives this prestigious honor, making this an incredible achievement for both Mr. Palm and the Oak Ridge community.
