Retirement Announcement:
I always told my students, “Music tells a story”—and this week, we reached the final chapter of mine as a piano teacher.
Our last recital was full of emotion, beauty, and more musical magic than I can put into words. Watching my students take the stage one last time reminded me why I’ve loved this career so deeply.
I’m now stepping into retirement, helping each student find a new teacher who will keep that spark alive. If you're a fellow teacher or know someone accepting students, please leave a comment below-these amazing young musicians are looking for their next guide.
And who knows—maybe I’ll return someday for some casual adult classes (where the only pressure is picking the right snack for intermission😂).
Thank you all so much for the cards, the gifts, beautiful flowers, and heartfelt words!! I’m deeply touched and incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, your generosity, your thoughtfulness, your kindness and most of all, your presence in my life. I feel so lucky and thankful to be surrounded by such wonderful and supportive students and families.
